| why hello to those who read this. well there are a few new things with me these days. I got into UCI a few days ago or like a week ago. Its my fallback school and I really do not want to go there at all since I live in Irvine already. I am still waiting on UCLA (will know end of April.../wrist) and am going to send in my application to NYU this week. I still need to go to my high school to get my embarrassing transcript and write my personal statement. UCLA is my 1st choice because it has the major I want but NYU is so tempting...that is if I get accepted. It is my long shot school so we shall see.
I am planning on to submit two of my artworks to my college's student art show where I can get some exposure and possibly make some money :3. My submissions are going to be a sculpture I did and maybe the Typography portrait. The portrait is a maybe because I need to get it blown up and framed by Thursday. And I am still deciding if I even want to submit it. meh, might as well right? can't hurt.

so yeah, its sitting on my bookshelf right now and is kind of dusty. lawl. so I may tweek it a bit before I submit it on Thursday.

My sleep schedule has been once again messed up thus I am not sleeping tonight...er morning..(7 am currently) in order to correct myself. I realized it was time when yesterday I slept a bit after sunrise until sunset....
ANYWAYS here is something I did in about three hours. A bit of figure and painting study.

| I am doing many things alone these days and I do not mind at all.
Letsee... later on today I am going to go watch Gran Torino alone. lawl yes, I have always bashed on those who watch movies alone and now I will be doing exactly that. There are so many movies that I want to watch that my friends are not interested in or are too busy so why should I let that keep me from watching my movies? Exactly, so I am going.
Last week I finished my UCLA supplemental application for Design | Media Art major. So my essay and portfolio are all sent in. And now all I have to do is wait. If I get in (I am freaking out every day), I am going to treat myself to a trip to Europe for a month from July 31st-Sept 3rd. I am going to go by myself most likely so hopefully my parents will let me.

| Its 4:30 am and I have been painting for hours.
It is times like these where I just look at my art and I get this feeling of complete peace with myself and the world and get reminded why I love this so much.
I am happy doing what I do and am just grateful for....right now.
